Zig returns to Music By The Bay with a brand new CD. "She has a gift for penning reflective personal anthems that turn hard truths to life-affirming purposeÉ. The lilting folk-pop melodies are graceful, spacious and memorable; the lyrics intelligent, image-rich but never forced, wise and heartfelt."--Boston Globe
Diane has won a handful (if you've got an extra finger)
of honors for her songwriting:
Rachael Davis, Boston Music Award winner for Best New Singer/Songwriter, opens the show. When Rachael was eight she was singing on second stage at Wheatland Music Festival. The Irish singer Maura O'Connell was just backstage. When Rachael walked off stage Maura went up to her, and grasped Rachael's face with both hands and said, "Never stop doing it for the love of it!" Thirteen years later, she's impressing audiences wherever she goes.
